May 01, 2012: Cheers for FIVE YEARS! :)

Late post. Better late than never.

I went at their house, as usual, in the morning and had our lunch there. Actually this was already a routine. Haha. Then later in the afternoon, we went to Eastwood for the movie, Avengers! :)) Eastwood? Yes. I was a bit surprise because as to what I know, my boyfriend didn’t like going there. This was his plan. Improving, we’re not watching at SMF! HAHA! Anyway, after watching we hurriedly went to our next destination —no time for picture taking and strolling. The movie ended at quarter to 7 (?) in the evening and we had a reservation at 8. We anticipated that it would took us an hour on the road because of the traffic, but there was none. It was a smooth ride and just took us 20 minutes to get there. So we are an hour early!

I was really at Van Gogh Is Bipolar! I have been waiting for this day to come! Haha. I discovered this place when I was blog-hopping, and instantly shared the infos with my friend Joanne. The original plan was, this should be the place where we will have our despedida for Badet. But since all our schedule don’t match with each other, we just set-up another plan. So here comes May 1st and I want to be in somewhere new, I suggested this place. Hehe. Honestly, I want to experience all my “first time moments” with him. :)

I chose the table beside the door, but Hun wants to occupy the long table. I told him that it was for a group though it was okay with them for us to sit there.

After giving our orders, we roam around the bistro. The place was just small but there’s so much things to see— just like this dark room. It was before you enter the toilet. Oops, some posts are not for kids. Hihi.

The Axl Rose’s egg shot! I was really excited for this one! But Hun didn’t want it. Haha. Hey people, it was good! You just have to imagine that it wasn’t grose. :))

We were served with a soup and cherry potatoes for the appetizer. And for the main course.. tada~!

Chicken in a guava sauce and their Godfather pasta.

Same with Hun but instead of pasta it was served with their black mountain rice.

I love the chicken. It really goes well with the guava sauce. But the pasta was not for me, it was so vegetarian to my taste. Hehe. 

Courtney Love’s Drink of the Day. 

This drink has a unique taste and I like it. But my boyfriend didn’t. He said it was too aromatic for him and gives him a headache. Haha!

Dessert! Mel Gibson’s Darkest Sins.

The mechanics are, after drinking the vodka you should eat the chocolate. It serves as the chaser, then the Carabao Milk Ice Candy to cool you off from the warm feeling you have after drinking the vodka. This was brilliant!!! Haha! I’ll go back for this! :D

After an hour or so, we had to leave. Tiredness had sink in and it was getting late too. We were told not to forget to carve our names on the desk before leaving.

And for the payment, it is throughan Honesty System. Just put the money on the red box and get your change.

So this is how we spent our day. It was simple but a memorable one. Another year has passed and we’re still standing strong. I wonder if we’ll still be doing or will enjoy this kind of date as the years go by. Hmmm. But one thing’s for sure, I’d be happy and enjoy everything as long as we did it together. ;)

So here are the photos of my niece Iya. Yes, you have read it right. My niece. It is shocking but what can we do. It is really haaard to resist this angel and it’s fun to have a baby in the house. I check her out all the time when she was here. Gaaah, I want a baby too! HAHAHA!

Iya’s first month.. and now turning two months on May 15! So fast! ;)
